Marvelous Ms. Morena

Marvelous Ms. Morena

Morena Ghilardi is a fabulous tour coordinator and an even better tour guide. Morena is an art history graduate from the University of Parma. Following her graduation, she moved back to Milan where she has spent several years working as a curator. In 2008, she decided to become a licensed guide for Milano. Morena knows several languages including: French, Italian, English, and Portuguese. Morena worked tirelessly around the clock ensuring that our study abroad group received every necessary item and advice to have a successful and entertaining trip. Morena’s knowledge of the Italian language and geography greatly expedited the schedule and our group was able to visit everything we wanted in an efficient manor. Morena was very kind and courteous to everyone in the group and listened to the opinions and concerns of everybody.

Morena’s extensive knowledge on the history and architecture of Milano provided our group with a plethora of education on the second largest city in Italy. Morena demonstrated to us about the vast importance Milano is to Italy’s economy. Milano is the financial, fashion, and architecture capital of Italy. Milano is a big city lying just south of the Italian Alps. The city of Milano’s charm and glamour is greatly reflected in the character of Morena. Morena’s sense of fashion and vivacious character clearly demonstrates the values and mentality of Milano. With this, not only the vacation to Milano, but the entire trip would not have been as incredible without the amazing and generous help of Morena Ghilardi.

I am so excited to meet her kids and share in a last festive supper with her on Friday night. Her incredible hard work has not gone unnoticed. I greatly appreciate the help and assistance Morena has given this past week.
