Arrivederci, Italia!

Arrivederci, Italia!

Goodbyes are never an easy thing to do, especially ones that are created by people and places that will last you a lifetime. In our last night in Milan, we are joined by Morena and her two precious daughters for our farewell dinner at Ristorante da Giordano il Bolognese, who have graciously served as our farewell dinner location for years. It was full of moments sitting back and watching everyone interact with one another, sharing our favorite parts of the trip, laughing and having fun before we head our separate ways in the morning. As our trip to Italy is coming to a close, I look back on our incredible journey over the past week and am in awe of it all.

Boarding the plane in Milan, I’ve taken so much out of this trip and everything I’ve experienced this past week has been nothing but amazing. As it’s always sad to leave a place that’s become special to you, I’m excited to get back to sweet home Alabama. This trip has provided me with new and continuing friendships and memories that will last me a lifetime, and for that I thank the Bunn’s and Morena for making this trip possible and a dream come true.
