I have truly always had a passion for Italy. Throughout elementary and middle school, I completed several projects regarding Italy. So, last semester when this study abroad opportunity presented itself, I knew I had to apply. These past few weeks, I have been running last-minute errands but, I was so caught up trying to prepare that it didn’t truly sink in… I’m going to Italy. As I began packing, that’s when it really hit. I began reflecting on my Italy projects I completed many years ago and realized how far I have come as a person. I am beyond excited about this trip and am hoping that in some way, I discover more of myself while studying abroad. I already know that my time in Italy is going to be an unforgettable experience— one that I will talk about for years to come.
